Edition on black vinyl. Eero Koivistoinen has had many different ensembles during his long career as a jazz musician. His current combo, The Eero Koivistoinen Quartet, mostly plays Eero's own compositions. The music is based on modern jazz tradition but has a personal angle. Koivistoinen's long connection with Africa (he worked in many African countries as a musician, producer and educator) shows in the group's rhythmic expression. Nevertheless, hints at Finnish folk music can also be heard.
