Simply put, every song on 'Sworn To The Dark' is instantly stuck in the listener's head. Regardless of the many transitions between furious blasting and doom-laden dirges, the songs as a whole are very evenly balanced. The album even tastefully includes lighter instrumental tracks that bring an almost peaceful, contemplative mood.
