Popis - SAKAI ISHINAGE ODORI [VINYL]:
Featuring mainly Japanese folkloristic drumming, but also vocals and flutes, these recordings were made during the 1982 edition of the Sakai Ishinage Odori festival, an annual pre-harvest celebration (with traditional music and dance) which takes place in Sakai town, Saitama, north of Tokyo. The LP also presents the same tribal pieces in updated versions, recorded and mixed by Sugai Ken.
