Having formed in late 1968, one year later Tully already was the most hyped band in Australia, feverishly acclaimed for their towering rock dynamics and extended flights of jazz-inspired improvisation. By mid 1970 an album was eagerly awaited, an the resulting debut is one of Australia's most forward-thinking and ambitious records of the era.
