The music of Max Von Sydow, who hails from Sweden, is unruly and still thoughtful in its approach to incorporate a wide range of musical traditions. This is showcased by these two tracks, which share a sound and arrangements that are influenced by psychedelic music from seven continents. On the A-side the melodies soar higher and higher over acid drenched guitars and far-out drumming. The thin and aggressive 'Insecto' sounds as jerky and unpredictable as its title implies.
