Whereas 'Mesmerised' saw the band wandering in a reverb-soaked psych territory, 'Lead Lined Clouds' is a much more full-on sonic barrage. The band has a wider spectrum of incluences, ranging from Guided By Voices to The Fall, Modern Lovers, Jesus And Mary Chain and even My Bloody Valentine.
