Opposite Sides are an Italian metal band from Rimini formed by guitarist Massimo ?Arke? in 2000 with the purpose of writing and playing Technical Death Metal. With the passing of time, the music style began to change direction, going beyond a more complex and mature song-writing. Influences coming from progressive rock and electronic/industrial sounds were added to the metal riffing, scream vocals were enriched with melodic clean choruses forming an original and modern style of extreme metal. In 2008 the band signed a contract with the Spanish label Mondongo Canibale that released ?Soul Mechanics? worldwide in February 2009.Recently, Opposite Sides have signed to Rising Records for the release of the new album "Lost Inside" scheduled for November 29th, 2010.
