Christine Jean-Leon has and continues to be a blessing to others by allowing God to make use of her talents to minister to people all over the United States. She travels extensively all across the United States to perform in various religious activities such as: concerts and preaching on special occasions. Furthermore, she delights in motivating young and old to maintain a good relationship with God no matter what the circumstances of their lives may be. Christine Jean-Leon, formerly known as Christine Semerzier, is a native of the beautiful island of Haiti. She is the fifth of six siblings. From an early age Christine has had two very special God-given talents- an affinity for music and a strong devotion to God. The genesis of her singing career can be traced to her first public performance in a church service in Haiti. At the age of six she performed a spiritual selection during children ministry day. The response was astounding. She was encouraged to continue to develop her God- given gift and from then on, she never stopped singing. Her mother vividly recalled how Christine would gather the neighborhood children to play “church,” she also recalls that each “church service,” was filled with special musical selections. As Christine grew older, the art of teaching and preaching about God’s love along with her appreciation of music became intertwined as one through her melodious interpretations. She prays continuously that God would continue to use her and augment her talent as she ministers to others. It is very clear to her that it’s not about her but it’s about God. She lives and sings to glorify God. The Lord answered her prayers by providing the means for her to release her first CD in April 2005 entitled, “Ma Raison de Vivre,” which is translated as “My Reason to Live.” Christine testified that with each recording she discovered that she was indeed witnessing to herself. Most of her songs were inspired by events that transpired in her life, events which increased her faith in God. God continues to bless Christine as thousands of CD’s has been sold and many have confessed that they have found each of her songs to be a source of blessing, hope and encouragement in times of distress. Her Most recent CD was released just a few years later, in April 2007 under the title “Giving You The Glory.” As you listen to Christine’s testimonies through her songs, I am persuaded that you will be blessed, encouraged and your soul will be uplifted to the one “that is able to keep you from falling, and present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy.” (Jude 24) Rev.
