This 4 track 12" EP features tracks by Rossetti's Compass, Kant
Kino and Apoptygma Berzerk. Mark Warner is a member of Touching the Void with Andy Oppenheimer. He created Rossetti's Compass in 2010 to allow exploration of different directions in music ranging from pure synth pop through to dark electro. Amongst other works are remixes for bands such as Angst Pop, HNN, Kant Kino and Technomancer. In September 2012, after being invited over to do some work in the studio, Mark and Per Aksel ended up working on the Rossetti's Compass debut 4-track 12" together, and with both a growing friendship and mutual respect for each others work, they hit it off in the studio and wanted to continue this musical endeavour together. In March 2013 Mark invited Per Aksel to join him as a permanent member of Rossetti's Compass, an invitation Per Aksel gladly accepted as he felt it was a huge honour to work on another project with one of his early inspirations and musical heroes of the 80's. Per Aksel has performed with (and as) Angst Pop, Cronos Titan, Chinese Detectives and Apoptygma Berzerk and remixed tracks for many bands including Sudeten Creche, Leather Strip, Die Krupps,
Attrition, Carlos Peron, Shatoo and many others.
