Walter Whitney discovered the Synthesizer away back when few knew just what they were. Also sings on occasion and plays percussion and guitar.Later was inspired by artists like but not exclusive to Todd Rundgren, and Les Paul who at the time did the revolutionary thing of recording an entire record by themselves by way of multi track recording. He used a primitive 4 track setup for many years and honed his skills and surpassed the technology of the day by using his ears and experimenting. He started recording bands with his small studio and met Carl Weingarten (Multiphase recording artist) and formed Delay Tactics With a sound they call 'Out Pop' or accessible modern electronic Avant Guard composition with a pop flair and sensibility. They released 2 albums. By the way a new one is in production with another founding member David Udell. Walter is interested in a wide range of music, Ambient Eno style, Singer songwriter, Electronic music, Rock, Comedy/novelty, as well as collaboration projects. 4 releases are planned for 2015!
