As a music producer and label owner for many years I was very involved with many reggae artists and Jamaica. I founded the label RAS Records and produced many great records by artists like Black Uhuru, Gregory Isaacs, Don Carlos, Israel Vibration, Culture and many more. I became fascinated with the theremin when I discovered it was used in the Beach Boy song 'Good Vibrations.' I had always thought it was a moog synthesizer. I bought the finest 1929 RCA theremin in the world at an auction in Florida. I knew it would fit in with reggae dub so I took many of the dubs I had mixed and added the theremin to them. Even the great Bob Dylan allowed me to mix a dub of his song 'I and I'. I can tell you this has turned out to be a very wild sounding CD. With excellent liner notes from the host of rcatheremin.com Andrew Baron and super exciting graphics (including a pop up inside of Professor Theremin himself) this is a unique and very collectible piece you will be glad to own. A video is being completed now that will blow your mind. Be careful. This is heavy duty stuff and is not recommended for those who cannot take some serious dubwise vibrations.
