This collaboration began two months prior to the Fukushima disaster in Japan, when Dakota Suite toured Japan with befriended Japanese band 'Vampillia'. The tsunami was very upsetting for Dakota Suite's Chris Hooson and David Buxton, who then decided to make music to reflect this overwhelming sadness and loss for Japan. They approached Vampillia to work on these somber reflective songs for the sea, and of course their friends from Osaka were happy to be part of the project. The result is a truly epic record ranging from ambient and
experimental to post-rock and neo-classical. This LP-version is pressed on 180-gram transparent vinyl and includes an inlay and free download code.
