Sons of the Delta play an earthy, passionate blend of electric/acoustic delta blues flavoured with the many roots music styles from the southern states of the USA – from delicate, intimate acoustic numbers to full on house-rockin' electric blues. The ‘Sons’ collectively have nearly 50 years experience of playing the blues in Europe, the USA, Canada and Australia. Formed as a duo they expanded and added drums (Martin Fitzgibbon) and electric and stand-up bass (Lyndon Webb) and can been seen performing as both an acoustic and/or electric duo and a four piece band. For many years they have been regulars on the UK festival circuit and have made many trips to Mississippi where they play in juke joints and clubs and where they recorded their critically acclaimed album Made in Mississippi with guests the legendary Pinetop Perkins and Sam Carr.
