Ase aka Breakgroove has been an essential name on the Spanish hip hop scene since the late '80s and early '90s. He passed away December 2017, so Enlace Funk decided to release a 7" single with the last song he wrote, 'La Cara Y La Cruz' and 'Skyline City', an example of his electro-funk side that made some noise at the underground. Ase was the founder of well known underground rap group Latin Side, one of the pioneer crews of the '90s in Spain, right before the records-release explosion. He was also a respected graffiti writer who left his mark on subways and walls all around the city, helping to push the scene with one of the first graffiti shops at the time, 'The Wanted Shop'. With this release, Enlace Funk wants to pay homage to a real pioneer of the realest hip hop scene, an unwritten story that built the way for the next generation and remained ahead of his time till the last day.
