Desumanos' fresh mixture of guitar driven melodies is as evocative as it is playful. This Brazilian band casts uncompromising surf scents on a handful of songs that also drop in the mix African rhythms, cumbia and lambada. This instrumental project is made up of a dream-team of producers and musicians: Kassin (bass), who was member of The +2s and co-produced Gilles Petersons Brazilian project Sonzeira, and former Os Mutantes member Liminha (guitar), as well as Felipe and Manoel Cordeiro (guitar), one of the lambada originators, and Stephane San Juan (drums), currently playing with David Byrne.
