Popis - PORTRAIT YOU PAINTED OF ME [VINYL]:
As the case with Alison's previous solo albums, the touchstones of the immersive sound of this six-track mini-LP are viola, harmonium and voice, merged together to create a rich suite of songs. The structures and sounds are reminiscent of a post-modern approach to lyrical concerns dealt with by '60s British folk singers, but the actual arrangements are closer to something John Cale might have done with Nico on 'The Marble Index'.
