Started as a quintet in the mid-1970's, Neuronium quickly became a trio in the line-up. While the musical orientation as a quintet was still in the direction of progressive rock, the trio - inspired by Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream and Popul Vuh - moved more towards the "Berlin School" and switched to electronic and cosmic music. In 1977, Neuronium signed their first record deal with the renowned English label Harvest. The label was founded by EMI for progressive rock music and at the time already had well-known artists such as Barclay James Harvest, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd and Kevin Ayers under contract. Neuronium's debut album 'Quasar 2C361' was released the same year, followed by 'Vuelo Quimico' a year later, also on Harvest. Now here come the re-releases of the two albums, restored and reworked by band member Michel Huygen.
