This is the first release from a Moondog-inspired artist who creates his own percussion-based compositions. 'Route 4' is an ambient percussion composition, which combines the soundscape of US Route 4 in Vermont and hypnotic drumming. 'Thorn And Roots' is a fast-paced musical impression based on an improvised melody performed in front of a juice bar having the same name. The trimba and balafon play in tandem with one another, creating a percussive flurry in perpetual motion.
