Founding members of the Red Stick Ramblers and the Pine Leaf Boys -- described as 'two groups at the vanguard of the Louisiana cultural renaissance' -- join together to form the The Revelers. Cajun, Country, Blues, and Zydeco combine into a powerful tonic of roots music that's sure to get you moving. The individual members are in high demand, having performed and recorded with Natalie Merchant, Linda Ronstadt, Preston Frank, Mamadou Diabate, Cedric Watson, and Tim O'Brien among others. As a group they play with empathy and depth that reflect years of making music together. Simply put, The Revelers are the next Louisiana supergroup. The Revelers were featured on the 'Cajun Country' episode of Anthony Bourdain's 'No Reservations' in the summer of 2011 and they are also featured musicians on the third season of the HBO series 'Treme' which airs September 2012.
