Popis - HOLD THE FIRE:
Tommy James' latest record is another solid lineup of great rock 'n' roll songs. His songwriting has not diminished with time as this set proves the well is not dry. The title track is a compelling piece that shows James is in quite good voice as well. "Isn't That the Guy" is a hooky piece with a rhythm that goes straight for the hips. "Love Words" is one of those gorgeous slow cuts that James does so well. Not merely a retro set from another '60s star, Hold the Fire is a terrific record that would be of interest to anybody who likes great Adult Oriented Rock delivered by a guy who still has the goods.
