The nine compositions on 'The Sea Within' reflect a more spiritual dimension of Ray Grasse's music, evoking an internal landscape of feelings and impressions. The inspiration for some of the works in this selection literally came through dreams, or during moments between waking and sleep, and the arrangements of these works evoke a sense of that ethereal 'crack between worlds.' Recorded at BobDog Studios, Oak Park, Illinois, between 2004 - 2014.
